Roop has been the best nail tech. I have been coming to see her for 3 years now and I am hoping she never quits. Her nails are perfection. The best part to is the glow in the dark. I love that!! My mom is 85 and she goes as well and has zero complaints!
I booked with Roop Nails after a coworker recommended, so I messaged her on Instagram with the design I wanted. She gave me the price and I booked. At my appointment I asked for acrylics and she said okay. The set looked perfect and her attention to detail was amazing, and I left satisfied,But That night I noticed my nails glowed in the dark, which I didn't want. I messaged her to ask if it could be fixed and didn't get a response until the next day. By then I'd also noticed one nail was missing its top coat and felt sticky and fuzzy. She replied that nothing was wrong with her work and that the powder she uses glows in the dark. I told her I was never informed of that and asked for a redo. She said she wasn't comfortable redoing them. I asked for a refund so someone else could fix them, and she declined, offering to put nude gel polish over them instead.I went back the next day. That's when she mentioned the only acrylic powder she owns is glow-in-the-dark. If she had said so at the first appointment, I could have decided then whether I wanted it she showed me the options she had for the Nude Polish but didn't like any of the polish colors, so I asked her to take the nails off. While removing them, she offered to redo them in gel-x, and I agreed. At home they still had a faint glow, so I had to remove them again on my own. After the original set, the redo, and two removals, my natural nails are thinned out and irritated. I wanted these nails for my birthday and now can't get any done until they recover. I wasted my money and didn't get the result I paid for.
